Our first chick has hatched! So keep watching...

Since 2001, visitors to our website have enjoyed watching images from our cameras as they showed the stories of the families unfold each year. Two chicks were successfully raised in 2005 and in 2006 four eggs were laid of which three chicks hatched and fledged. The camera is in need of cleaning now and the whole system will be replaced this year with new equipment that will send data and well as video from the site. More to follow on this over the next few weeks.

We share our camera with the RSPB and the BBC. We are very grateful to Reverend John Henton and to St David's First School who have kindly agreed to let us install our equipment on the church and in the school.

About this camera
This is second camera we've had on the nest since 2001. It needs a clean and some maintenance work, which we'll be doing at the end of 2007 with the help of steeplejacks!
