Q: What makes you different from
a CCTV company?

Eco-watch do not install CCTV
security cameras disguised as specialist wildlife
or environmental cameras. We specialise in high
quality video and data capture and presentation
systems offering end-to-end solutions, ultimately
helping you get the very best images of wildlife
and environment for your money. In general off
the shelf CCTV cameras will not give you the
quality that you need to present high quality
images to large audiences, however, sometimes
we do use discrete CCTV cameras when quality
is not paramount.

Q: How much does a system cost?

This is impossible to say
until we have talked to you. We work on projects
with budgets ranging from thousands to hundreds
of thousands of pounds depending on their size
and aims. We offer consultancy that can help
you put together funding proposals ensuring
that you have a realistic costing for a system
based on professional grade equipment. We are
here to help you get your message across in
the most exciting and engaging way and record
in a quality that fits in with the result you
need.

Q: What is the minimum size of
project you will work on?

From large corporate customers
to smaller businesses if we can help you we
will. We are specialists and consult upon, supply
and install professional high quality equipment
that is reliable and easy for you to maintain.
This sort of equipment can be expensive and
generally speaking our clients are businesses
rather than individuals, however, if you have
an idea that you want to pursue, complete our

Q: Can I buy iCubes™ as a
separate items?
|

|
Yes you can. These are bare
bone machines, not strictly off the shelf. We
would need to know about how you want
to apply them to make sure that they are configured
for purpose. For example, if you are integrating
data loggers into your project that are not
supplied by Eco-watch then we would need to
link these to the iCube™.

Q: I need an estimate - where
do I start?
|

Have a look at our online
form and consultancy sections. They tell you
the information that initially we need to be
able to best help. Then call or email us when
you are ready. In most cases we start
with some form of consultancy often visiting
you onsite to discuss your ideas; we will assess the
environment you are interested in including
in your project, plus where and to whom you intend
to show video and data. We build your estimate
around a solid design so that this is meaningful.

Q: Once the system is installed
will you be there to support us?
|

Yes of course. In whatever
degree suits you. At every stage we make sure that
you take ownership and fully understand how
to get the most from your system. We offer training
and support for your team if you need this,
coupled with routine maintenance and services.
