Eco-watch provides a technical
and ecological consultancy service for organisations,
environmental consultants, schools, colleges
and businesses looking to implement wildlife
surveillance and environmental monitoring projects.
We plan, design, project manage and implement
bespoke camera
and data
logging systems. We provide full integration
of images and data shared to large displays,
embedded within desktop interfaces and the Internet,
as well as fabricate and manufacture bespoke
monitoring equipment and portable
systems.
What technical and ecological consultancy involves:
 Listening
to your ideas and aspirations, initially by
phone or email; this first consultation is free of charge.
"Walk
and talk" and on-site visits to determine
the best way in which to monitor the wildlife
and environment you have based on what you want
to achieve.
Discussion
with you and your team about the structure of
a project proposal, based on your ecology and
environment, technical feasibility, your timescale
and budget.
Assessment
of the scale of your project to determine the
extent of the design work and documentation
that you need to satisfy your funders or stakeholders.
Where
appropriate, review your existing system (cameras,
cabling,
infrastructure
and presentation
equipment) and see how best to use what
you already have to best effect and propose
a next step. For example, this might include
integrating video and data into existing web
sites, Intranets or offering control of cameras
and access to video archives to your audience
via touch screens and interactive displays.
