The iCube™
|

Over 10 years of experience
has shown us that recording video of wildlife and
capturing data from habitats requires specialist
equipment of a higher, more robust and reliable
quality than standard CCTV applications. In
response to this we designed and built the iCube™.

What is the iCube™?
|
|
|
A range of
robust recording units that simultaneously
capture MPEG4, SD or HD video and
audio automatically when either
motion is detected or on timelapse.
Data loggers can be linked to the
iCube™ and environmental data
and video simultaneously stored
directly onto a hard disk drive
making data and footage easy to
view, present, transfer and edit.

to present and monitor wildlife
through video recorded in a range
of qualities; from compressed formats
(the only way practically to stream
real-time live video to a mass audience)
to full SD and HD quality (the only
way to give the footage you collect

information about a whole environment
e.g. weather conditions, not just
video of the wildlife that lives

system, can we integrate the
iCube™?

The iCube™
is the backbone recording unit for
projects that Eco-watch design and
implement. If however, you have cameras already
installed and are looking for a
high quality recording system, we
also supply these as separate products.

Currently we
supply three versions
of the iCube™
|

Portable
iCube™, for monitoring
wildlife in the field, remote areas
and for environmental assessments
and surveys. It is waterproof, compact,
rugged and supports data loggers,
records video from 4 cameras simultaneously
to disk in MPEG4, .H264 and MJPEG
quality.
